ஓர் இலக்கினைக் குறிக்கோளாகக் கொண்டு மிளிர்வது இலக்கியமாகும் என்பர். இலக்கியம் சமுதாயத்தின் கண்ணாடி என்பர். இவை எம்மொழிக்கும் உரிய இலக்கணங்களாகும். அவ்வகையில் ஊடகங்களின்வழி பார்த்தும் கேட்டும் மகிழும் கவிப்பேரரசு வைரமுத்துவின் தமிழ்த்திரையிசைப் பாடல்களில் வலியுறுத்தப்படும் படிப்பினைகளை ஆராய்வதே இவ்வாய்வின் பின்னணியாகும். ஒன்றனிலிருந்து நாம் அறிந்து கொள்வதே படிப்பினையாகும் எனக் கல்விமான்கள் குறிப்பிடுகின்றனர். தமிழ்த்திரையிசைப் பாடல் பிரியர்களின் தெள்ளிய உணர்வுக்கு வித்திடுவது இவ்வாய்வின் அவசியமாகும். கவிப்பேரரசு வைரமுத்துவின தமிழ்த்திரையிசைப் பாடல்கள் எத்தகையத் தாக்கத்தைத் தமிழர்களிடையே ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளன என்பதை ஆய்து முன்வைப்பதே இவ்வாய்வின் முதன்மை நோக்கமாகும். காலந்தோறும் கவிஞர்கள் பலரால் தமிழ்த்திரையிசைப்பாடல்கள் தனித்தன்மை பெற்றுள்ளன. அவை, காதல், அன்பு, தன்முனைப்பு, உழைப்பு, நட்பு, குடும்பம், சுற்றுச்சூழல், மனிதப்பண்புகள் என விரிந்து மக்களின் மனத்தில் பசுமரத்தாணிபோல் பதிந்து பாதிப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளன. இருந்தபோதிலும் தற்காலத்தில் கவிப்பேரரசுவின் சிந்தனைகள் எங்ஙனம் உருவாக்கம் பெற்று மக்களின் சிந்தனையில் எத்தகையத் தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளன என்பதை இந்த ஆய்வு ஓரளவு படம்பிடித்துக் காட்டும். 

Abstract

Literature is about shining with a goal in mind. Literature is the mirror of society. These are the appropriate grammars for our language. Thus, the background of this study is to examine the lessons emphasized in the Tamil film songs of Vairamuthu, the poet who enjoys watching and listening through the media. Scholars point out that the lesson is that we learn from one another. It is necessary to sow the seeds for the clear feeling of the Tamil film song lovers. The main purpose of this study is to find out the impact of the Tamil film songs of Kaviperasu Vairamuthu on the Tamils. Tamil film songs have been singled out by many poets from time to time. They have spread like love, affection, selfishness, hard work, friendship, family, environment and human qualities and have made a lasting impression on the minds of the people. Nevertheless, this study will provide some insight into how the ideas of the Kavi Empire have evolved and influenced the thinking of the people today.
