Abstract

ஆய்வுச்சுருக்கம்

சங்ககால இலக்கியப் படைப்புகளுள்ளே குறிப்பிடத்தக்க இடம்பெறுவது இசை. இசைக்கலை பற்றிய பதிவுகள் சங்க இலக்கியங்களிலே குறிப்பிடத்தக்க அளவில் உள்ளமையை இனம்கண்டுகொள்ள முடிகின்றது. இயற்கையோடு இயைந்து வாழ்ந்த காலமாகச் சங்ககாலம் வர்ணிக்கப்படுகின்றது. 

இயற்கையோடு இயைந்து வாழ்வியலை இசையுடனும் ஆடலுடனும் வாழ்ந்து மகிழ்ந்த காலமாகச் சங்ககாலம் குறிப்பிடப்படுகின்றது. இந்நிலையில் சங்க இலக்கியங்களுள்ளே கலை ஆளுமைகளாகப் பெண்கள் முதன்மை பெறுகின்றனர். இவர்கள் பாடவும், ஆடவும், இசைக்கருவிகளை இசைக்கவும் எனப் பல திறமை கொண்டவர்களாக வர்ணிக்கப்படுகின்றனர். 

தமிழிசையின் செழிப்புக்கும் சிறப்புக்கும் சங்ககால மகளிரின் பங்களிப்புப் பற்றியும் அவர்களது சிறப்புக்கள் பற்றியும் சங்க இலக்கியங்களினூடாகத் தெரிந்துகொள்வதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டு இவ்வாய்வுக்கட்டுரை அமைகின்றது.

Abstract: 

Music is one of the foremost literary works of the Sangam period. Records of music can be traced back to many Sangam literatures. The Sangam period is described as a period of harmony with nature.

Sangam period is said to be a time of living in harmony with nature and enjoying life with music and dance.

In this context, women are predominant as art personalities in Sangam literature. They are described as talented in singing, dancing and playing musical instruments and etc.

This research article is written with the aim of learning about the contribution of women from Sangam period to the prosperity and excellence of Tamil music and their specialties through Sangam literature.
